This article is going to be a one-stop destination guide. In order to acquire the Azure Data Engineer certification, you will have to pass 2 certifications(DP-200, DP-201). This article covers DP-201 (Designing an Azure Data Solution).

Preparation Strategy:

  1. Create a free Azure Account.
  2. Check the syllabus and know the required services.
  3. Here the importance is given to the security & design aspects of a solution.
  4. Try to know the architectural aspects and how various services are linked to each other for a particular solution (eg: As mentioned below in the hacks section).
  5. You can refer to Microsoft documentation and Pluralsight for role-based learning.
  6. There are Sandbox’s available free of cost which allows you to experiment on various azure services hands-on. Sandbox sample Link
